Did you know that all students eat free at NMSD? Our Food Services team prepares breakfasts, lunches and snacks, delivering meals that exceed the recommended nutritional standards. Have a look at the delicious soup and sandwich combo the students at Belfair Elementary were enjoying the other day. Fun for Everyone at the HUB in March!
Reading Olympics Opening Ceremonies was a ton of fun and a huge success! Thank you to all that participated. PTA was here with free books and a raffle. The North Mason Timberland Library had a table set up for students to register for a library card. Milk & cookies were served, and reading was happening all around the gym.
First reading slips are due on Monday, March 4th.

Very Important!!! Have you filled out your Impact Aid form? Save yourself a little time at conference and fill it out now online. Impact Aid is a federal grant program designed to assist school districts who have experienced increased expenditures due to the enrollment of federally connected children. The program supports districts with concentrations of children whose parents work on military bases and other federal properties, and Indian lands. Filling out this survey gives us the information we need to verify our qualifications to participate in this program. Even if you do not work on federal property, we still need you to fill out the form.

The Jog-A-Thon is tomorrow and it's going to be a beautiful fall day for students to be outside getting fresh air, exercise, and raising funds for our ASB! Tons of cool prizes can be earned, including a Belfair Elementary t-shirt!!!
Students should wear appropriate shoes, and are encouraged to show their "Bobcat Spirit" by wearing blue & white clothes, hats, and hairbands.

The Jog-a-Thon is our major annual ASB fundraiser. The money raised supports cultural, athletic, recreational, and social events at our school (this includes field trips, assemblies, and other special events).
