💙 Recognizing Empathy 💙
No surprise to see this face pop up in the building administration series nominating employees who exemplify the trait of 'Empathy' -- it very well could be Sarah Stuart's middle name! As the office coordinator for Belfair Elementary, she impacts so many people, leading with this trait. Principal Klusman, in her nomination, highlights that, "Sarah consistently listens and supports staff and students with authenticity and compassion." Congratulations on this fitting recognition!

Thank you to our community members who have taken the time to contact us with their concerns about the flashing lights not working in the school zone in front of Belfair Elementary. The company has been contacted to repair this malfunction. In the meantime, please follow the 20 mph speed limit posted.
We appreciate your involvement in keeping our students safe.
THANK YOU!

🧟 The REAL Zombie 🧟
The invasion of the zombies is coming next week to our elementary schools. No, not THAT kind of zombie but rather the gooey, delectable, cheesy goodness kind. So when you hear your student talking about the zombies at school, now you know, it's a GOOD thing!
Thank you to our Child Nutrition Director Mackenna Long for this public service announcement!

SPIRIT WEEK (MONTH, actually :-)

💚 Leading with Gratitude 💚
Building administrators submitted their nominations last month to recognize staff members who lead with the trait of gratitude and who take the time to genuinely show others they are valued, appreciated, and recognized. We begin this series by featuring Anne Helmich, PE teacher at Belfair Elementary, who was nominated by Principal Klusman. "Anne is always letting others know how grateful she is for all they do. During our annual Turkey Trot, she showed her gratitude to others flexibility and support to make the event a success.”
Congratulations, Anne, on this well-deserved recognition!

DECEMBER SPIRIT WEEK!

💙 Recognizing Responsibility 💙
Today we celebrate Alicia Covert for being nominated by building administration for demonstrating RESPONSIBILITY. Principal Klusman at Belfair Elementary shares, "Alicia is our MTSS paraeducator. She goes above and beyond for our students. She provides student breaks, runs our pawsitive shop, tracks attendance, and responds to calls for student report. These are just a few of the things she does in a typical day."
Congratulations, Alicia, on this well-deserved recognition!
